Michael Vaughan believes the opener Zak Crawley then the ‘future’ of English cricket. A former cricketer who became a cricketer feels Crawley should be given more time to prove his worth on a global scale.
Crawley, who was also called up to the England squad for the Boxing Day Tests, showed great potential in his 77-year knockout bout at the Sydney Test.
The Kent cricketer impressed the Australian team that was so full of stars as they pulled respectfully and dared bravely.
Speaking at Fox Cricket, Vaughan said:
” A real promise from Zak Crawley. There is a future for England. Should be given long, open beats. This is a player that England have to give a long time to in the team. “
Vaughan also took to his Twitter account to thank Crawley for his successful knock on the SCG.
“Zak Crawley can play very well… There are not many benefits from this trip but he should be given the longest time in the coaching team… #Ashes,” said Vaughan.
This was Crawley’s highest test since he won 267 against Pakistan in the summer of 2020. However, his dream of getting a hundred ashes failed. Cameron Green, who was stoned to death in front of the 77th wicket.

Crawley is one of the biggest challenges in English cricket. But then, he has an average of first grade 31 and an average of more than 10 last year in England.
